Anyone with a Class C have any experience with "The Jack" brand tv antenna? I did a search already but not much information. I have read some good stuff about it, but not from Class C owners. Any info appreciated.

I put a Jack on my Class C it is this onejack it was very easy to install it took about 15 min. all instructions are in the box, just 2 pins on the shafts and the coax all done.I got it @ amazom for about $42 it is much better than the old batwing it is smaller and dosn't bang around on the roof. I also got a lot better reception with it. this was one of the easyest and best mod that I have done to my Class C.

Just curious, why would the reception differ based on class RV?

Thanks very much for the information. This is exactly the kind of information I needed to help me decide. Think I can buy one from an RV shop nearby. Probably costs a little more but I have dealt with them before and they are easy to work with. Thanks again.

In that case, I replaced my batwing with a Jack (on my 5er) last month and have been very happy with it. Replacement was very simple. Aiming was different but not too tough to figure out.

Thanks for the information. I am going to check with the RV shop later this week for their pricing etc. Will re-post if I make the purchase to let others know how it worked out.

The biggest improvement you can make to antenna performance is a high quality pre amp.
