Probably going with the Yamaha as I have somewhat local dealers. Not too much around here for either locally. Most dealers have dried up on both brands although there is a CW in town. I think the bundled price from Wise Sales is way too good to pass up and this way I only need to pull out one if not going to run the AC.

Question, if I am not going to run the AC and I use this set up, I just need to use a 30A to duplex adapter to run lights etc. off the genset right?

Both are great choices. I bleed red (honda everything except cars, down to the lawn mower), so I ended up with a 2000i and a companion. Parallel kit was $50. Dual extended run (Bergs). Nice setup. Only use the Companion when needing air. Never hiccup running 13.5K.
