Hi All,
While taking a shower this morning, the water in the coach simply stopped flowing, instantly, as if someone had shut it off at the spigot. I turned on the water pump and using the onboard water, there was no problem.
Afterward, I went outside and there's plenty of water pressure (regulator set at 60psi). There is just no flow, like there is a blockage. Even if I flip the valve to fill the tank, no flow. I have a screen at the regulator which is clean, so I'd be surprised of there was a large blockage in the line after the city water connection.
I removed both filter elements, which were only 30 days old, and no difference. It seems like the problem is right after the city connection.
If anyone has any ideas what I can do to troubleshoot this, I would be most appreciative. It looks like a big job to disassemble the connection on my rig.

Now thats just weird. I am following this one to see what the solution is. Do you have a check valve in the regulator? They can fail.

That would be my thought also. If there is a back flow preventer in your system that would be where I would look first.

Did you try it without the regulator? Are you sure no one is playing games and flipped a switch or bypassed something by mistake? How cold was it where you were last night? Any chance anything froze?

If I understand this problem all is well until you get to the RV. There should be a check valve just inside the RV inlet that prevents water from the RV going out backwards into the campground system and possibly contaminating it.
It's going to be lots of fun getting to it so you might wait for a few more responses. If that is the problem I would replace it with a brass model instead of plastic.

Ditto the regulator. They do go bad.

Did you disconnect the hose from the RV and have pressure? Remove the regulator and see it it works....Hook the hose right to the rv

Check the individual pieces. Unhook the hose and regulator from the tap and RV. If water flows from the tap, then add the regulator and try again. If you still get flow, remove the regulator and hook the hose directly to the tap. If you still get flow, the problem is in the RV.
