Hello, everyone!

Gail was right - when the American Cruiser at PPL was listed as "Sold", I was the buyer! (Thanks, Gail for the well wishes included in your post!}

The day I posted about my signature, I uploaded a picture of My American Cruiser. That was my way of letting y'all know I was now a Class B owner.

I spent Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights in my new-to-me American Cruiser RE2000 X. I was plugged into electric service at PPL over the weekend waiting for them to repair the generator. Then Monday night, I returned to their pad again because I did not yet have generator power available.

Last night, my American Cruiser spent the night at a Dodge dealer here getting ready for the jaunt back to Oklamoma - new tires, new serpentine belt and a few other things.

There is more to my adventure to come. I really want to share some more details about the experience with PPL and my purchase.

For now, I want to say:

PPL treated me like royalty!

I have never in my life been treated as well as I was by the staff at PPL!

I will be back to share some more. I don't have much access to the internet right now. Soon as I do, I intend to come back and share "the rest of the story" with y'all.

BTW - in addition to saying thank you to all the folks on this forum who helped me as I made this decision, a special thanks to markopolo for: Detailed information about the American Cruiser on www.classbforum.com

The adventure continues . . .

Well, I would not have expected that after reading this thread. My advice would have been to walk away from that dealership from your descriptions of how they treated you over the phone, when you were able to reach them.

Have fun with your camper!

Hello everyone who has been following this thread. I do have some more to say about my whole PPL Motorhomes experience but will have to wait until I have rested up a bit.

My American Cruiser is at my mechanic's getting the once over right now.

The only internet access I have right now is via my phone and it is NOT a smart phone. It will not allow me to log on to this site so I have not been able to post. (I am at my daughter's right now.)

I have a bunch of questions but do not have the energy to post them right now -- and I need to take some time to see if my questions are covered elsewhere on here.

There is SO MUCH to learn!

I hope to take some grandkids camping this weekend.

The adventure begins.
