My 2008 trailer has mission tires size 204 75 r14. I had one of them separate on my last trip. I put the spare on and drove it home. I'm really worried about driving them any more fearing what the other 3 might do. I have done a lot of research and found out that all of the tires are made in china and the reviews are either they lasted 5 years with no issues or they blew in about 100 miles. One of my son's scouts masters is the manager of a repair shop so I will probably get the tires from him but his shop is about 45 minutes away.
Would it be better to block up the trailer and send the wheels with him or tow it there? What is the best way to support the weight?
Any opinions on these tires and prices.

I wouldn't go with any of the choices you have posted. You will just be replacing problematic tires with another set of the same.
Go with a set of Maxxis m8008.
Most dealers won't have them but they can be ordered.

To answer your question: none of the above.
I agree with downtheroad. Maxxis is the only way to go. You can buy them online and have them shipped to your house.

Personally I'd tow the trailer there, this way you could see how the trailer acts with the new tires on it and still be close to the tire shop to correct any problems.

None of the above also…
I would go with either the
Either Maxxis M8008, made in Thailand
The Kumho radial 857, the 205 is made in Viet Nam or China…
Love my mass produced, entry level, built by Lazy American Workers, Hornet

Since everybody here seems to like the maxxis, would anybody care to share why they are better?
I got a quote of 422 for those tires from two different places, so I guess that is a good price.

Based on a lot of peoples experience with them they are built better… I have read very few complaints about them and while others will argue that is only because of their market share, I am convinced they are the best ST tire being built today…

Another vote for Maxxis
and - the tire "Experts" hang out on the *Tech Issues* forum. See the lengthy thread running continuously (about 90 pages now).
Ask over there - it should generate some discussion for you!
BTW - There are a couple of "genuine" experts there with industry background.

They do exist in trailer tires, you just need to look. Try a different dealer.
