I agree, Maxxis. Sure wouldn't buy any made in China!

Ok so this is what I am getting everybody like maxis but nobody well say why. They say they don't want ones made in China but maxis is a company from Thailand and Vietnam. Ate those countries that much better?

They just don't fail as often as your OE tires - no longer made - or the Carlisle brand.
You can use the web site below to look for specific tire complaints. Some lists are very long and Carlisle seems to get the most.
If you take good care of your tires the Goodyear Marathons are the easiest to find if something should go wrong while on the road.

Why is because they don’t have a history of catastrophic failure…
They are liked and preferred on any forum I have visited and for all types of trailers…
All Maxxis M8008 radial tires are made in Thailand… Maxxis does build other tires in Viet Nam and in Mainland China…
I am suspicious of any tire as well as many other things made in China… they have earned that suspicion…

There are not many options in the 14" size. If you check out the forums for the smaller single axle trailers (Casita, etc.) that exclusively use 14" tires, the consensus seems to be to go to a load range D tire. That leaves two options - the above mentioned Kumho, or the Kenda Karrier distributed by Martin Wheel and sold by Northern Tool and others ...Maaxis is the highest respected brand out there, but as far as I can tell they do not make a 205/14 in Load Range D

Sounds like you are not convinced...and are having a hard time with advice from lots of us who have gone through this trailer tire "thing."
So, go on down to Pep Boys and get yourself a set of ChinaArmors or whatever for half price and let us know how it works out for you.

I have NEVER had any problems with my Maxxis tires....over 25,000 miles.
Pick up a Maxxis M8008 tire and another Chinese made tire, you will see the difference. My fiver came with chinese TowMax tires, the difference in weight between the TowMax tire and the Maxxis was incredible. I must admit that I went from a D tire to an E tire.
Maxxis St tires are manufactured in Thailand. Maxxis does manufacture other types of tires in various plants in other countries.
Thanks, I hope I get that kind of life out of these.

Who says I'm not convinced, I got a price for the maxxis tires from the same guy and they are getting put on tomorrow. I'm sorry I got you so upset but I would just like for somebody to say why they recommend maxxis. For example I have my maxxis tires for 10 years and 20,000 miles.
