We are flying into Fairbanks June 6
The beginning of a fourteen day tour/cruise ending in Vancouver.

We drove up in 2001.

Wish I could see my sign in Watson Lake once more!

Thanx! I always appreciate a pat on the back! I'm hoping this summer we have more time to explore Yukon backroads now that we live there! Last summer was a bit hectic with buying property and fixing an old cabin for winter-living!

Photography MUST become a priority again ... I'm pretty sure DH won't complain about more camping!

The Tanana River ice at Nenana went out April 23, fourth earliest in the 96 years of the tripod's existance.

I had April 27 thru May 6 covered on my 10 guesses for the Nenana Ice Classic, second time in the past 10 years I did not hit the exact day with my entries....I never had thought this past April was going to be so warm above normal.

I would love to see the ice go out on the Yukon River someday, THAT is a sight to see !

They do have a few links on youtube though.
