Hi and welcome to the forum.
Answer depends. What is the Gross Vehicle Weight of the trailer and how much heavier is it than the Hydrid you tow now? Do you think the difference in wieght is something you feel comfortable with?

You need to look up the actual specs for your truck but with a tow package 7,500# TT should be within all manufactures ratings for that 1/2 ton truck. Your probably close to GVWR max but I suspect your good or at least close enough if you maintain the truck well (not a member of the wieght police as I tow routinely over GCWR but I do like to stay with GVWR as much as possible and I never exceed axle or tire ratings)

I'd say yes. A 7500# GVWR RV is fine for a properly equipped (V8) half ton.

Payload and hitch ratings are going to be your limitations (assuming half ton). Plenty of power and a good trans with that truck. You will be adding about 400 pounds to the hitch weight over your current HTT. Have you ever weighed your current setup?

i have a 2004 dodge hemi 1500 4x4 with 3.56 gear ratio and pull a 299 tango thats gvw is 7500 and i usually pull it around at 6500 pounds. the truck does ok but needs to rev and shifts more then i like. get used to 4000 rpm and 7-9 mpg. i thought of upgrading but my truck still only has 110000 kms on it and only time i drive it much is on holidays so ill keep it a few more years.
