Before I went to ND to buy our Vacationer we talked to MT 3 times. 2 were visits to the Orange County store and once was at the Pomona RV show. I felt like I was dealing with a Tennessee used car dealer/wrecking yard owner.

We have bought 2 RV's from them. They are okay to deal with. Our sales guy was Mike Webber. Say hi if you see him. For a dealer we would probably rate them above average. We haven't dealt with other dealers so don't really know, but based on some of the compliants about dealers on this forum they are better than most. This is the Orange County dealership off the 405.

We have purchased 3 RV's from them. A good experience each time. BUT I did my homework first and knew what I wanted and what a good price was. They have 3 large stores, therefore they have a good selection of new and used coaches. We dealt with the Santa Fe Springs location.
Their service department is large and can handle most any "house" related problems. They do not do chassis/drive train work other than basic maintenance. Service is expensive and slow. But the work will be done right. They also have a very good body shop, I've had fiberglass repair and paint work done twice, the work is perfect with a proper paint match.

Sounds like standard procedure for California auto sales. "GO See Cal. GO See Cal. GO See Cal."

We have purchsed 2 rigs from them. You do have to know what you are looking for and what a good price is. The buying process went smoothly. We have used the Santa Fe Springs and the Colton locations.
Now on the negative side - I don't think I would ever take anything to them for service work. We have never had them do work but too many friends have and the service was not good. It has taken way too long to get anything done and it seemed like every time they took the rig in, it came back with something else broken. I even told this to the salesman we worked with.

We've purchased a couple coaches from them. If you know what you're looking for and what it should cost, they have a good selection and you can negotiate a good price. But they like to drag the negotiation process on for hours.
But you have to know what you want and what you're looking at. We learned that the hard way. Our first DP purchase was a nightmare because we trusted the salesman and didn't know enough about the product. He lied about which Cummins it had, and we didn't know enough to tell the difference.
We spent a lot of time learning about DPs after that, and went into our second DP purchase much more informed (at a different dealer).

I have been to the one off the 405 many, many times. When we were finally ready to buy I couldn't talk them down as low as better equipped model I found somewhere else. I saved a substantial amount of money and got more options by driving several hours away.
Know what you want (model, options, warranties) and how much you are willing to pay. Also be patient and be willing to walk away. That should be SOP no matter where you buy.

Their prices are very competitive but their service department is the absolutely the worst I've ever experienced. I purchased our coach new at the Colton store.

Good points ... They have nice selection of motorhomes and if you do your homework you may get a good deal. I made a purchase back on November and was really upset with how slow they were. Because I did my homework .. I was able to veer off some situations that would have made the closing even longer. Definitely take a look but don't go there without all your facts and past research. Good luck.
