I just completely believe that a newborn (human) baby can trigger a fairly strong prey-drive in dogs - and anyone who leaves a new baby and a dog in the same room unsupervised needs their heads examined. Yeah, yeah, yeah - I understand that the vast majority of dogs know better than to ACT on that prey drive... but when the dog lacks that discernment, you read about sad stuff like this :-(
My point exactly. This ruling is so wide that it includes just about every mixed breed that anybody owns. All it takes is one small problem and big lawsuits without insurance to cover you.
