I looked at the Zerk fittings on the above link, they have A 30&45&90 degree fittings, but how would you ever get at the old one to replace it. It is a pain. But, I also had a small hand grease gun and used that to do mine. I might have gotten a little grease in with the big gun, but didn't want to take the chance, so hit a couple of squeezes with the small one. I only have 22K miles on my engine and it had never been done as it was still painted yellow. I then called the truck company and asked for the mechanic that had told me there was not a fitting on my engine, when I had them work on it and flush the radiator. I had specifically asked that they grease the fitting. One just never knows who to trust, my brother in law had Motor Trucks service his 2001 rig with the 330 hp model. This year he lost a "U" joint just as he got into the Phoenix area. It was completely dry and probably never been lubed, he was laid up 3 days waiting for them to fly in parts from Calif. They had to send the old yoke and have a new one made. Ouch, thank good, he had Good Sam's insurance so he only had to pay the $150.00 deductible.
