Last summer, installed a new set of vision Hauler Dualie 181s with steel inners on a F350 Crew 4x4 Dually. The valve stem on the outer 181s are impossible to get a standard truck tire air chuck or gauge on them. Have tried to use a shortened gauge held between the wheels but have to be careful pulling out not to bump gauge meter stick. Same with adding air, have to use short chuck reaching between the tires. Anyone have a better solution, have ordered a pair of Crossfire tire pressure units (similar to Cats Eye) and hope I can figure out how to mount them since lug nuts are recessed, am thinking of getting a bigger bolt for one of the hub cover bolts for the bracket and notching out cover back so can put bracket under it. Called Vision Wheel, who you would think have heard about this but no help. Also due to irregular width around the oval openings a clamp style adapter braided s/s hose will not work. Could not find any solid adapters to work either, and have found on a tour bus that valve stem extensions will break off due to vibration. Feedback from anyone that has dealt with this wheel would be most appreciated.

Harbor freight sells a air hose with gauge on a flexible 2 or 3 foot hose. This will fit behind and between the wheels.
It comes with a built in pressure gauge. Works pretty good. The mechanic at the rail yard uses one on the trailers that have the valve stems hidden behind the outer rims when not aligned with the holes in the rims.
