Has any one replaced a booth with a table and chairs.I have no outside storage in the booths just inside.Just looking for some feedback before I jump into this job thanks
No, but I took the fold down table out, spun the 2 halves of the bench seats and made one long bench..
Yes, this did take away the ability to eat at a table in the traditional sense, but after having the bench/table setup for 8 years, we have found this layout much better for us and freed up some floor space..
We found that we eat outside 9 out of 10 times anyway and there is no real value loss in a 10 year old trailer!
For those times we do need/want to eat inside, we have some folding "TV Trays" that store easily under the cushions or in the tub in the bathroom..
Anyway, it works for us. It was really easy to do. The benches were screwed to the floor and the walls and once those were out, they came out really easy.

I removed one side of the dinette in one of the Sunlines that I owned. The bottom of the bench was screwed to the floor from inside the bench, so these screws were easy to remove. The side of the bench was screwed to the wall with the screws being inserted from the outside before the siding was ever put on the trailer. So, try to see how the benches are mounted, to plan your "attack".
If there are screws thru the wall from the exterior, you can cut them off on the inside, but then you have to cover the cut ends up. I ended up putting bead board up on the wall in the dinette area and it looked great.
Sorry, can't post a pic as I lent out about 6 of my rv photo albums (something I swore I'd never do, they have not been returned and I don't remember who I lent them too).
FYI, this was just one of my many projects that I did with no "male" assistance, so it's quite do-able if your a little bit handy.

I took the stupid table and benches out completely. A lovely Lazy Boy recliner with heat and vibrating fit nicely. I use a TV tray. A small price to pay for a lovely chair. When reclined, it easily fits under the rear slideout when traveling with our Keystone.

As did Kitty, I took out our booth entirely, put a pedestal base on the table and bought 2 very pretty wooden chairs from the 'net,then recovered the seats to blend with the decor. I then bought 2 folding wooden chairs for spares and sat back to enjoy the apparent space this freed up. As long as you do not have something such as a water heater under the benches and you don't mind giving up the storage &/or sleeping space, it looks very nice and is much more comfortable IMHO.
We opted out of the booth for a table and chairs. The table was bolted/screwed to floor and was just as inconvenient to use as the booth. We were in Indiana and found a person who manufactures furniture for RVs. WE purchased a desk where the dining table that goes with it fits under the desk. On one side there are drawers, the other has a little "computer" desk for keyboard and printer underneath. We find it versitile and love the storage.

Love the bug zappers. We've had the same kind or similar for several years. Hardley ever see anyone else with any.
My neighbor did his after he sat in my trailer with the table and chairs. Course we are both fairly,,, ok we are both very big men lol lol... He liked having a little extra room and not being squished into a booth. -----Those bug zappers are the easiest way to get the little sneaky son-of-a-guns that get into the trailer just before you go to bed. Before we hit the rack I run around inside the trailer and run the zapper along the roof. Usually get them all....
