I see an add for work campers at Park Place RV Park in Quartzsite AZ. Has anyone work camped there? Any information you can provide would be helpful.

Thanks

Stayed there a few years back. As I recall, spaces were pretty close and not much room between RV's. Kind of a large parking area with hook ups. For a desert area, I guess it was OK, nothing special. Cold at night when the wind whips up the sand. After seeing the RV show for a couple days, were were ready to move on to someplace else.

Thanks for the. We spent last winter in the swamp. Loved the swamp and park but something different this winter might be nice.

I don't want to put my home state down but I'm sure you can find a better gig than Quartzsite. Yes there are a lot of people who squatt there in the winter on Federal Lands. Do a wikopedia search on the place for average temps both hi & low. Quartzsite is 25 miles East of California on I-10. The nearest town besides itself is Blythe, CA a small agricultural community on the border. Phoenix metropolitan area is about 100 miles East. Your neighbors will be snakes of all kinds and ages.

IIRC - The RV show is in . . Jan or Feb..

Won't be cold at night any more, LOL - and expect over 100 degrees in the daytime. (NOAA shows low 90's now).

Very few folks use campgrounds in Q after the show season.
(And most use *free* camping during the show season).

Unless you *really* like the heat - I'd pass on that one (summer).

If you mean during the winter - different story & probably would be better than "the swamp", LOL!
