We replaced our bedroom vent with a MAXXAIR Deluxe, 2-way fan w/remote...with the hopes of cooling off the bedroom. CW had a great sale last year, installed it ourselves. In 3 years we still didn't feel we needed that second AC unit, although the trailer is wired and braced for it.

It's going to be better than nothing, hope it fills the bill - we'll see this summer.

We would not be without them!!!! They have either been installed B4 or after we got whatever trailer we've EVER owned. The fan, coupled with a Maxxair vent cover, means we rarely use the A/C, that is, unless we're down south in AZ, TX, NM, etc. etc.
These fans make such a difference, one sucks it in, one pushes it out and they are invaluable. We have thermostats that turn the fan(s) on or off by temperature, so we can leave in the morning when it's cool and they turn on automatically if it starts to get too hot inside. Sometimes it's too hot outside as well, but at least it keeps it from getting stuffy.
We had to replace a worn out in/out switch a few months ago and it was shipped to us FREE! One of the BEST companies we've ever dealt with...not the first time they've helped. We are customers of theirs for life (so long as we last!!)
JMHO, yours may vary......

I installed my Fantastic in the bathroom. I run it in exhaust and open the window in the bedroom or what ever area I want to cool. That way I get the cool air into the bedroom. I also chose the bathroom as I use the fan to clean out the bathroom after a visit to the John.

We have 2 fantastic fans. One in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. I use the kitchen one sporadically but the bedroom one is use all the time. No condensation when showering and it definitely helps keep our bedroom cooler. We close all the windows except for the one at the foot of our bed, turn on the fan and it makes for great sleeping! Do you have an enclosed bathroom?

Are we better to put the fantastic fan in the bathroom rather than the bedroom? We have an enclosed bath. I'm not sure that the we would get the air circulation that we are after.

Thanks for all the replies. Looks like a fantastic fan is the answer. Our air works great in the bedroom. First time we have had good air flow. Just don't always need the air or have the hydro to run the air as we sometimes only have 15 amp service and a 15000 BTU air conditioner.

We have Fantastic Fan in our bathroom. One thing to remember! Close or turn off Fan when flushing, or flush fast! They are very good at sucking "unwelcome" odors from the bowels of your black tank! Lol
