Thinking about selling the truck camper and buying a 04 Tioga motorhome class C it has 27000 miles on it, does anyone know what size gray, black, and fresh water tanks a unit like this has and how many coach batteries it has thanks in advance.. The truck and Truck camper we have are still in good shape but the truck just turned a hundred thousand miles but we average 14mpg i do not think a V-10 on a ford 450 chassis will get over 8mpg or is that way low for the newer gas engines?

A few get more than 8 but we don't. If you feel you can live with 8, you won't be overly disappointed if it only gets 7. Thrilled if it gets 9. Some claim more but they're few/far between.
You've got a pretty capable truck in that Dodge and 100 shouldn't hurt that CTD. What about a fiver?
Somebody may come around with tank/batt specs on the Tioga.

I agree with J-Ds comments on fuel mileage. Tank sizes vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and again from model to model, but on a small c-class don't expect much more than 30 gal per tank. Batteries, maybe 2 but possibly only one. On some the second battery was an option if space was available. You will have to check the unit in question.

Also have 2004 Tioga 26Q bought new, like it. Best feature is large lighted storage bay. With gas prices likely to stay high and 7-9mpg, consider whether you can afford to tour a lot with other expenses of RV ownership. If tires on Tioga are 4-6 years old, you may need to buy six new tires regardless of tread depth or appearance. Roof A/C and fridge may need replacment in near future.Make sure everything works properly including furnace, generator, fridge, water heater, microwave, etc.
