Welcome to the forum!

Yes, it's pretty safe to level your motorhome even with the toad still attached to it. You may want to check out this other thread in this forum for more info on this: https://rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseactio........d/tid/22634831/srt/pd/pging/1/page/1.cfm

When I level with the toad still attached, I make sure that the toad transmission is still in neutral as it will need to move a little as the motorhome goes up to level and again when the jacks are retracted.

rstuck,
Sure you can. What you have to take into consideration is the amount you'll need to raise the rear of the coach, if needed, to get it level. And the only reason you need to think about it is because if, you decide to disconnect while your level and you're at some strange angle, you might have a bind on the tow bar. But, tow bars are made to pivot, up and down. So, you should have no issues leaving it connected and leveling.

I'll be the 'contrarian' (sp?)here. As a 'personal,' and I'll assume a general norm, your tow bar should be going straight at the MH hitch ball. If you put down the jacks and give that an 'upward slope' the disconnect can turn into a total pain where one sits. In down the road mode (assuming a flat parking pad here) everything is in alignment. You have to disconnect sooner or later ... sooner is better.

That way you can adjust the MH anyway you want and 'toad' couldn't care less.
