Sneaking out of work early today and headed to Whiskeytown Lake for our first camping trip of the season. We have a weekend trip scheduled for the end of May at Lake Davis and then our annual trip to Flaming Gorge in June. After that, maybe a couple weekend trips to the coast to finish out the summer.

For me I don't smoke, never did. Don't drink alcohol, ya a pretty boring life.

When we leave for extended periods we don't lock our doors. If someone wants what I have so be it. If we locked the doors I would have to replace the door.

Next week I'm headed to the GSMNP for six days.

Then about the 22nd I'm headed to the Catskill's for four weeks or so.

Then in Aug I'm headed to Montana, Idaho and WY. for about six weeks.

All my trips are for fly fishing and fly fishin. I don't it the tourist stuff, that costs to much money.

All I buy is gas, food and fishing license's. Oh fly tying material also.

One more thing, I don't stay in campgrounds unless I have to. Like in a NP

My oldest son and I are leaving Monday in the TC to head off to Colorado for him to do some gold panning and maybe over to Utah and maybe push it up to Canada.

End of May the whole family will be in the Discovery headed to Yankees and a Phillies game along with a bunch of other stuff to be determined.

Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, then back home.

Military sites for the men & plantation tours for the women. Of course, we will all go together - unless we need a nap in the TC while the spouses are touring.

Florida for the beach for a few days at Fort Pickens near Pensacola.

Spring/Summer:

Work on the camper, travel nowhere.

Fall:

If Gas prices continue their current trend:
Take a 5700 mile round trip cross country jaunt.

If Gas prices Spike past $4.009/gal:
Work on the camper, travel nowhere.

I would find it a bit dangerous to tell the whole internet reading World when I'm not going to be home. And I would certainly not tell anything if my full name would be used on the forum, together with the location where I live.

We're going to the South of France, btw, ... but when?

When I'm heading out to travel in that fashion, the home is going with me, so no home to rob when I'm gone .

Trying to snoop around where I live with malicious intent will likely earn you a couple of bullets or loads of buckshot to the skull, living out in the middle of nowhere, naturally we're armed .

I am leaving Ar. on the 16th of May and heading east to Stafford Va. There I am picking up a lady that I haven't seen in 25 years and we are going to travel north through Va and into PA. for a couple of days. From there we will drop over to WV for a couple of days and ending up at her brother home on a river down on the VA. WV. line. She has never been in a TC so this should be a test of our friendship for sure. We grew up together over the years and are looking forward to the trip...From there I am going to take her home and drop down to Washington NC and see my mother for a couple of days. From there it's back west to Jonesboro, AR. to the the grandbabies for a couple of days..Then I am heading to Mt. View Ar. to camp on the White River and fish for trout for a week..From there back to Russellville,Ar. and take time to recharge..should be right at a month and 3k miles...Happy Traveling..
