I just installed a P3 on my 09, F-150 and I dont know if it is on all the time of is there a way to turn it off?

Here's the installation manual for the P3. If you don't find an answer they list an 888 number to call for technical questions.

It turns itself off after a few minutes.

I see in the manual the Mike linked that the display screen should turn off after 15 minutes with the vehicle off. I don't have a P3 so I don't know if there are any lights left on after the screen goes out. If yours stays on though, I would call the support number in the manual and ask them about it.

Mine completely shuts off after about 15 minutes.
