I had a Master bake system installed on my MH in 2008. It worked 1 month went back to CW they fixed it; it worked another month they again fixed it. Traded to a larger MH they transfer it to the new MH and toad, it worked two months. I took it in and CW said it was the connection to the power which was taken from the steps and the step power was the problem $237 repair. I made a mistake and left. When we were leaving on our trip the next morning you guessed it, the master brake didn't work. CW didn't even hookup the toad to check it. I would not recommend the Master Brake product nor the installation at CW. We have been without toad breaks 10 times more than we have had them.

It looks like the nearest Camping World is in New Braunfels. Please let me know what will work for you. We would like to get this right for you.

Thanks,

Thanks for your response. We are leaving Choke Canyon on April 30th and should be able to get to Camping World in New Braunfels around noon. If this works let us know and we will make arrangements to get there. Also if the work takes too long we will need to stay there overnight.
Thanks for trying to resolve this issue.

Ned,
I have you scheduled in New Braunfels at that time. I need to get some info from you. Full name, location and date of your installation of the Brakemaster.

Thanks,

Bruce

Ned Baringer St Augustine, FL\The Brakemaster was initially installed by campingworld in St Augustine, FL September 2007.That installed was repaired twice and had stopped working when we traded motorhomes. We traded motorhomes at Lazy Days in Seffner, FL October of 2010 and they had Campingworld Seffner transfer the system to our new motorhome. We then traded cars in November 2010 and Campingworld in St Augustine, FL put the tow bars and braking system on the new car, It failed on our trip West in March 2011 and was supposedly repair at St Augustine but it didn’t work the next morning when we were leaving on out trip February 2012. So this system has failed on two different motorhomes and two different cars. Now you know why I am so frustrated with the system.
Thanks for your help

The service manager was GREAT. He worked us in put his best brake system man on it found the problem and fixed it. It was an installation problem done by St Augustine. We were out in 2 hours. We have nothing but praise for the service department there especially the service manager.
Thanks for you help.

Sounds like a great company to do business with. I am glad you got the thing finally fixed. I know multiple break downs are frustrating. Happy RVing....
