Hi Folks!
First post here. Did some searching but couldn't find an answer. Looking for RV/camper windows that fold out and are hinged at the top.
I've seen many egress windows, but they don't seem to be made tough enough for everyday opening. I plan to make my own screens.
I've considered sliders, Jalousie/Torx, but need fold out windows. I know the Cricket trailer has them. Contacted them, all I can get from Pia there is that they're from the Netherlands.
Any suggestions?

Parkin has several brands. I believe HEHR makes top hinged type.

I'd call the RV Service places closest to me and see what they can come up with.

Some of the windows on my Rockwood are the crank out type but I have no idea who the manufacturer is. I MAY not be understanding what you mean by "FOLD" out windows though.l MIne hinge at the top and are cranked open from the bottom makine it possible to leave them open during even the hardest rain.

Yes, I mean windows that are hinged on top and the bottom swings out. They can either crank open, open with some sort of handle, or even be electric. Ideally, they'd open at least 45 degrees, but 90 would be better.
Size should be roughly 3 feet wide, and roughly a foot and a half tall.
Thanks for all the great tips, folks!

On my class C I have an island bed with windows on 3 sides. The side bed room window on the driver side is an egress window. It slides horizontally to open and close for fresh air - just like the other windows in the MH - but if I release 2 red latches the entire windows flips out for egress, just like on a bus.

Windows like that are common in European RVs- a lot of them are built by Dometic under the Seitz brand-

BINGO!
Chris, you hit the nail on the head, buddy! They even have the pneumatic cylinders already installed!
Our truck is a Volvo Tgb11 troop carrier, so the EU influence is perfect.
Does anything similar exist in the states? I've seen a few egress/escape windows, and the latching hardware doesn't seem like it was designed for everyday use.

Why would you not expect egress windows to be usable for everyday use. We use the egress window in our bedroom just as often as any other window.
