Interesting suggestions. Thanks. I think the CD with rain sounds cheapest. All apreciated. Happy Trails

Earplugs may be the cheapest and would probably be the most effective. Just my 2 cents.

Hi,

Take an AM radio and tune it between the stations. Turn up the volume to where you are comfortable.

I think THIS is what you are looking for. It has white noise and a variety of other sounds. I have used it and it works well. Runs off 115v or batteries which last a long time. It will run a number of hours and shut itself off.

I have a small battery powered white noise machine similar to the one in the post above. It works great, we bought it online. The battery lasts a long time.

I have severe tinnitus and use sound machines when I'm at home or camping. When I'm camping I have a Brookstone "Tranquil Moments" travel alarm clock. It has several different types of sound with adjustable volume. I use the "babbling brook" or "rain" type sounds. It runs off 4 AA batteries or an AC adapter. The best price will be on Ebay.

Ditto, don't know if the model is the same but it came from Brookstone for way too much $$$ many years ago when I worked nights. We also go with the brook or rain noise, use it at home, hotels, and camping.

My CPAP makes enough noise for us most of the time.
