There was a pretty bad RV fire last night on East Bound I-70 and 110th St. exit at the Kansas Speedway just west of Kansas City. There is very limited information about it on the news but the 5th wheel suffered major damage. It appears to be on the drivers side but cannot tell what brand the trailer was. I don't know if it was a local person or someone traveling through but no matter it was a bad one. The new's at this point isn't releasing any details at all.

Some more information or pictures about the RV fire.

From looks of damage I would say flat tire or blowout and got propane line in that area.

In the one pic you can see it looks like the tires are burning. No way to tell if that's what started it or whether that was a result.

I hadn't even looked at channel nine news, just a couple of other local stations that i always watch and they had one very rough picture and absolutely no details. What ever the situation it was unfortunate.

I had my inside dually blow-out this weekend. My tires are old, and I should have changed them years ago. The blowout took out my gas lines and electrical to the generator. Who designed this?

I stopped quickly ran out to look, smelled propane and saw open gas lines and ran around the other side to shut it of, no fire. Guess I was lucky.

I drive with my fridge on gas so I will stop doing that now!!!

Last weekend in suffern NY a pop up burned completely to the frame before FD could arrive. The owner got out and said it started with his propane fridge.
