We have a new Silverback 29RK on order and although we've had other 5th wheels in the past, this one has the 50 amp power plug in the back. This takes extra cable to wind it around to the side where the power post is, causes stress on the power plug when pulled sideways, and is an unwanted item sticking out from the camper. Does anybody know if there is some kind of 90 degree female adapter available? It would also come in handy when adapting to a 30 amp service which would eliminate having to have the entire 50 amp cable hooked-up to adapt to a 30 amp cable.
Thanks in advance

There are plenty of right angled 50A RV plugs available but are you asking about a 50A twist lock plug?

You can always make (or have it done) a 2' extension from the rig plug to any RV plug. Depending upon what you want it may be available in a RV store.

I would wait until you get the Silverback before spending money on something you may or may not need. The 2012 Silverback RL (rear lounge) had the plug in the rear too, but when my 2013 Silverback RL came from the factory the plug was moved to the side of the fifth wheel.

The first photo is a 2012 29RL and you can see the power connection in the lower left side. The second photo is of my 2013 29RL and you can see the power cord plugged into the trailer near the water heater.

On a tangent, who was the rocket scientist who came up with putting the power cord connection at the rear of the newer fifth wheels anyway? Makes a lot of power pedestal locations inconvenient and really cuts down on flexibility of where the rig has to end up being parked.
