Everytime my laptop is connected to my hotspot is says connected to Iphone # (this # is now up to 12. Everytime it connects I have to identify as private and it gets the next number. I have a list of Iphone connections up to 12. Is there a way to set up so it sees it as the same network everytime? This is the only way I connect to internet.
Do you have your phone named? My iPhone is named "joes iphone" and this is what always shows up on my computer running off my iphone hot spot. I believe I named the iphone, on iTunes, while I had it plugged into the computer USB port. I wanted to make it "joe's iPhone" but it wouldn't accept the apostrophe.

My I phone puts a new every time Hotspot is turned off then back on. I am at 143 today. When I want the best connection I use the USB cable. Turn WI-FI off to use this connection.
