Not sure if this has been posted before, but it's pretty neat. I used to think a dually with decent size TT wouldn't need any WD. This TT looks fairly long but you would think it would still be okay. Guess not. I wonder if he was transporting it?

What does a WDH have to do with it? That trailer blew over in the wind. No sway, nice new pavement, just a big sail of a trailer.

Wow.........!
Thank you for posting. It's a bummer for owners.... but, a lesson for the rest of us.

Since wind (?) picked up trailer and TV with it, could a WDU have saved them this problem?
I mean that unit's (trailer) length provide one hell of a "sail".

Comments?

Maybe WD wouldn't keep it from fliping, so maybe he should've just pulled over at some point. Also wonder if a system like an EQ wear the bars are locked into the tongue more than chains would've made the truck flip also?

Only thing that could have helped either one of those rigs would be anchors imbedded in the ground and large cables holding the rigs down. But that does make it kind of difficult to motovate down the road.

Weight Distribution Hitch... although I don't think it has anything to do with this camper blowing over in the wind though.

Apparently it's thingy that prevents your trailer from blowing over.
