We are planning to go to Indianapolis in July and attend the Nascar race. I am looking for a place that my 2 scotties can stay for the day or a dog sitter that will come to the KOA to take them for a few walks during the day. Most kennels aren't open on Sundays so the boys would have to sleep over for 2 nights. Any ideas??

Try the Petsmart Petshotels. I've used the one in our town many times, and also while in larger cities, like Dayton, OH. The pets receive very good care and you can pick them up until 9 p.m. on Saturday nights and until 7 p.m.on Sunday night. There are 2 in Indianapolis- check out the Petsmart Petshotel web sites for more information. I've never been disappointed with their services and my dog has never gotten ill from being there. Their staffs are very caring. Good luck!

Great place we keep ours there when we do motorcycle trips. No room for doggies on the bikes. They have everything from normal pens to indoor outdoor suites with TV's and cameras so you can watch you pets from wherever you go. Would call now though they are busy. And by the way they are open limited hours on Sunday's

check out Puppy Playground. Two locations, the Rockville Road place is closest to the track. We leave our dog there a couple times a week just to play with the other dogs. Fantastic staff, clean facility, easy access from I 465.

I booked the boys in at Barkefellers, I called there and they sounded wonderful. I checked it out on line and it seems like the kind of place they will be fine at. It seems on Sunday, we will have to have them stay over because most places close before the race might be over. Thank you everyone for great suggestions.
