Why the snide comment about trolls?

I mentored a young fellow who worked for me,
He bought his first house, duplex, the day after he turned eighteen.
The second, two weeks later!

Life is short,Death is long,
Take a vacation.

Western,
You may be right. It is pretty unbelievable. But if I was a loan officer and approved a loan to an 18 year old that had no job or intended to quit the one he had, intended to leave the state as soon as he got the RV, and had a plan as solid as "get a job someplace, park in their parking lot, work for awhile and move on", I might as well go with him, because I wouldn't have a job either.

Retired and visiting as much of this beautiful country as I can.

You are exactly right about what would happen if a loan officer approved the loan however the OP said nothing about not having a job or quiting the job he had or living in a parking lot. But none the less the chances of this person getting an RV loan at his age is slim to none. Now a car loan or home loan well maybe but an RV, I would be absolutely shocked.

Actually, he has another post in the Class C forum that he posted the same day. He goes into greater detail on his plans.

Jake

I looked at your other posts in the Class C forum. I think you have your food cost in your budget a little too small even eating ramen and chunky soup.

I am solo and I can't eat on $50/mo.

As for a job if you work at Walmart for 1 yr you can transfer to other Walmarts if they have an opening where you want to go. Just a thought for you in planning a job.

Work hard for the next yr saving your money so you can by your MH. At your age you may need to work 2 jobs to accomplish your dream but you can do it.

Good luck in what you want to do. Come back and let us know what you are doing.

Cherry
