I have the 195-sd and love it. Would have gone for the 17 but just a little too small for my needs.

I also have the S-195 and love it. Palomino seems to build a solid hybrid trailer, I've had zero issues with mine and would recommend it to anyone.

I have had some issues, front bunk leak for one thing. Had to add a door clasp to the large cabinent door (the one at the bottom was not sufficient to keep the door closed). The only other main issues is that my Lab takes up most of the floor space. But out side of all that, I love the unit. I don't have to un-hitch if I am only spending a night some place.

We have a Stampede S-238 and LOVE IT ! As Timilicia says: It is a solid camper, well built.

Love our '09 S-17! The only problems we had which I think is probably common are... Tires dry rotted quickly and were replaced. Front decal faded, shrank, and is falling off. Shower had a small leak, but caulked around the faucet. Has been a GREAT camper! And Palamino has really stood behind their product, especially if you comment on their Facebook page!  We moded the closet with shelves. Added a paper towel roll on the wall and a digital thermostat.

We've been camping in our S-17 for 4 seasons now and still love it as much as when we first got it. No regrets here. We thought about upgrading to a 21 foot but we couldn't find anything else we liked with a u-shaped dinnette. It's the only thing that will fit all five of us when it's raining. It can get cramped sometimes but then again, we are camping after all.
The up side of the small size is the great spots we can back into if you're into camping in the wilderness like we are.
