I'm having a problem that just popped up....but it's intermittent so far...I'm at a Florida CG with 50A and this morning I noticed that my rear AC dropped out several times right after the compressor kicked in..the Progressive showed E5...line 2 high voltage...that is the line the rear AC is on...never did this before...ambient voltage on that line shows at about 125...I rebooted the progressive by killing the power and it recurred several times....now it is working normally with the rear AC and total house not shutting down.....so far..!!
Is this likely a Progressive line sensor issue, local CG power issue or AC issue....? I have a Hughes Autoformer in line but was watching the lights as the rear unit started and no boost lights came on....If it recurrs I'll get the Hughes off line and see if anything changes....anyone else have this problem before I contact Progressive about it???

I have faith in the PI controller. I think I would try it with out the Hughes in line. IS this a long running problem you been having or just something that has happened in the last few nights?

Remove the Hughes autoformer and see if that helps.

The problem just occured 2 nites ago at this new CG....last weekend elsewhere it was perfect with the same setup wired in line in the bay...During the day yesterday it worked fine...just at night is the problem...same issues last night...I got up and checked the Progressive monitor panel and the ambient voltage was about 125 on both legs with nothing running....but would trip when only the rear AC compressor on line 2 started...after 3 attempts and shutdowns, I bypassed the Progressive and let the rear AC come on for about a minute....then unbypassed Progressive and had the same instant shutdown..
So this morning I took the Hughes off line and all is well....with about 120 ambient volts
If you don't know, the autoformer will add about 2.5 volts without switching on..
So I'm guessing that the ambient 124-125 volts before the AC comes on on line 2 is right on the edge of the Progressive limit...it's supposed to allow 132V before doing this....Line 1 never has a problem....so far....
I'll give Progressive a call.....I just replaced EVERYTHING in the Hughes because it was malfunctioning...seems to be OK now...except at this CG!!

I've had mine drop both legs when voltage exceeded 132, but not just one leg.

I thought I had a problem with the unit, and called Progressive. Unit was working correctly. This was in Arkansas when temps were 110 degrees and the power co had cranked up the voltage to be able to push more amps thru the circuits.

Progressive has always been helpful the two times I've had to call them.

Verify voltage but all is probably normal and working correctly.
