I have a Verizon MiFi 4510L, getting signal but no Internet; any ideas what to do, currently in Lake Havasu City and they don't have a Verizon store.

That device has an rf port . You can get an adapter cable and external antenna for it . Perhaps that will help.

The problem could be on their end, that has happened to me. Also could be a bad sim card, that has happened to me too.

Lake Havasu City is marginal for Verizon signal - it's not "officially" in Verizon territory. The signal you do get comes across the lake from California. Try moving closer to the lake and see if that improves things. We got a usable Verizon signal at one of the RV parks north of town, but the signal wasn't really strong, even with an amp and external antenna. OH - and it was just a 3G signal. That's been about a year ago.

X2. Had the same problem. Verizon tech changed a setting between the PC and the MiFi.

The 4510L is a router/modem that can operate at 3G or 4G service. To troubleshoot the problem, you first need to identify where the problem is. The problem could be in your computer or the WiFi itself. Can you access the "router" part of the WiFi at 192.168.1.1? If so, then you you know you don't have a computer issue. If you cannot, then you need to look at your computer settings for the problem. Let us know what you find out.

We absolutely love our Mifi, but it sometimes sort of 'locks up' - first thing I'd try is to hit the reset button on the MiFi using a paper clip or safety pin. Look at your instruction book for the details.

I also invested in the external antenna setup and it made a huge difference. you have to buy an adapter to go between the mifi's external jack to connect it to a booster antenna that should be outside the coach. See your options here:

http://www.alternativewireless.com/cellular-antennas/mobile-signal-booster/verizon-data-signal-improvement/verizon-mifi-4510l-signal-boosters.html

Keep in mind that an external antenna will not GIVE you a signal when NONE is present! It only boosts the existing weak signal. In certain places our mifi would have one bar of signal alone, three bars of signal with a booster antenna.

Just looked at the Verizon Coverage map and the service area looks questionable, oh well already paid for WiFi at the campground so will see what happens when I get to a different area.

I was told the company that got a deal from the developers of Havasu City early on has some sort of exclusive rights and has not made agreements with cell service providers for data.
The only time we could get a Verizon signal was from the top floor of the hospital and as stated above it was from a CA tower across the river.

Anywhere else was extended network with no data access - just voice.

Down the road in Parker and Bouse MiFis work fine (3G though).
