Did a quick search and found this.
Adjustable Folding table leg
Different style than the picture but might work for you.
Good luck in your search for the right conversion.
EDIT*** Thought it would save the correct page for you but link goes back to the main page. It's on page 25, top right corner.

that is the kind I don't want (thanks for posting that cause I tried to do photo but don't know how)
the unit comes wtih that setup --I was hoping for the other kind. I thought, thats what they all had, simply lift the table top up, legs come out, top drops down into a bed, nothing hard about it.

I want a moving table. I don't want fixed. many campers come with a dining table that you can slide, move, use outside. It isn't about making the bed, it is about having the table movable. With a U-shaped dinnette I noticed the movable table is so much nicer to have people slide to the back.
thanks everyone!

Easy fix was to take the table off the floor pedastial mount them to a 3/4" doubled plate of plywood and finish the surface. You will need to make a wedge for the time it is pulled out from the area abd make it not rock due to the slidout and flooring being diffrent level.
Hope this is what you want will try to get a picture of Tom's modification as it does work whe the 4 meet their for eating or what ever.

At first it sounded like you wanted a lolding leg but now it seems you want to be able to move the table. In the RV Supply catalog most dealers use is a leg by Hong's that utilizes the pedistal tube but has a movable base. It is Hong's Porta-Leggs. Hope this helps.

then you're going to have a tough time. The very few places I've found were old sites/pages and they don't appear to be publicly available. However, one fellow mentioned that he ordered them through his RV dealer to do just what you're wanting to do (that's where this image came from). You'll notice his two pedestal holes in the floor that he now uses as bungee anchors.
Jeff's mods is where I got this. Maybe contact him directly.
yes that is getting closer to what I want. It is the kind that you flip the lever and it collapses down. I thougth it would be easy to get rid of the alum. fixed legs and change the top onto a collapsable free standing leg unit. hmm...might not be that easy
will probably need to ask someone like camping world if I can do it. Yes, these fold under. I have had two campers (PUPs) now with this table and folding-leg style. The legs fold up under it like a traditional large folding table you would see used at conventions, churches, etc. There is a velcro strap underneath to keep the legs from unfolding when you're using it as a bed platform. This lets you carry it outside and set up indepently of the camper. I use mine all of the time in the back yard for additional tablespace for eating, parties, etc. It is very stable in all directions, unlike the pedestal set up, which is noticeably harder to set up, take down and manage. If it's not that hard, then the instability of the pedestal makes it useless, at least with my little people.
This space left intentionally.
