Wilmington KOA is very nice. City has grew around it so you will hear the sirens go by. Nice young couple now manage the place. They have done somethings to make it more kid friendly - like movie night. It is a very good place for a quick weekend trip. Lots of shopping for the gals, NC Battleship not too far.
If you are coming in by I40 east take the new bypass towards Jacksonville (17 N) and then take the first exit (I think). You can not miss it cause you see Lowe's just off the exit on the right. Campground is a mile or 2 down on the right.
