The OEM Companion is so popular that the factory cannot keep up with the orders. I ordered one last week and Tweety's called and said I probably wouldn't get it until late May. I called a couple of other dealers and they are all in the same situation, not one to be found so far as I could determine.
That's too late for me since we'll be on the road in late May and I want some practice with the new (to me) fiver and hitch before heading cross country.
So I ended up with the PullRite OE Series Super5th 18K which also drops into the Ford prep package. I thought that I had heard something about Pullrite making an adapter last year but I guess they've gone all the way and have a hitch that fits now.
The only other choice that I know about is the Reese Elite and it is $1200 and I didn't want a Reese at all. The B&W is $800 and the Pullrite is $867 delivered.
But I should have it next week which is when we can pick up the Titanium hopefully. So things are coming together.

Don't sound disappointed... Pull Rite makes an awesome hitch! You won't regret your decision one IOTA...
Tweety's is great too! I got a FEDEX freight tracking number from them...and checked it online. There was a local number that I called...and I explained that I live on a dead end street...and an 18 wheeler can't turn around. So I gave them my cellphone number...and arranged a meeting place around the corner from my street...so the driver wouldn't have to back down the street to get out. I backed my truck up to the rear of the 18 wheeler. He pallet muled the hitch to the end of his cargo deck... my son and I slide the hitch right into the back of my truck. Worked like a champ!
After we got the 5th wheel....I ordered a set of JT's strongarm stabilizers from tweety's too...
Pull rite makes a B&W turnover ball adapter... but the OEM hitch...I think is just a new offering. They sure don't let moss grow on their feet.

Unfortunately Tweety's doesn't carry the Pullrite OE so I had to order from Dyers. The seemed to be OK on the phone. Tweety's cancelled the B&W with no problem and I have a long list of other stuff I'll be ordering, including a set of strong arms.
I am not unhappy with the Pullrite, I'm sure I'll be very happy with it. Are you using a teflon lube pad on it or just grease? The Dyer fellow told me 3 in 1 oil which I can safely say is unlikely.

I have had one ordered for a while also but I can wait because I can still use my old hitch until it comes in.

Well our schedule didn't allow that. I have reservations in Yosemite Valley starting 6/5 and that was the inflexible rock in our summer plans.
I'll have to say Dyer's moved fast they just sent me a shipping notice for FEDEX trucking. I better call them and arrange a meetup since a semi isn't getting near our place either. Or the driver wouldn't be happy if he did...heh.

Looks like he was steering you in the right direction....
Super5th Owners Manual
See Page 6 which reads:
LUBRICATION:
HITCH PLATE: All moving parts should be lubricated with a light oil or grease (WD-40 or silicone spray) before each trip or as needed. Work the Release Handle in and out so that lubricant can be dispersed over all moving surfaces. Degrease the entire plate and moving parts annually to prevent oil and dirt buildup, then re-lubricate.
KING PIN:
Spray a light coating of WD-40 or other similar lubricant on the King Pin and King Pin Plate, then wipe all surfaces with a rag to remove loose rust.

My Pull Rite is a SuperGlide... Since the entire head turns with the pinbox (capture plate) a teflon disc isn't recommended for my hitch. I do spray WD40 on the guide rails which the hitch slides along.
After you connect...your disconnect handle will return to the locked position. There is a gap you can place a padlock in...to keep vandals from pulling your release handle when you're not looking. I can't imagine anyone being that mean...but I put a padlock in mine just in case...

Well I guess he was right. I just expected a light grease but apparently not. I downloaded that manual so I guess I ought to read it.

I have a Super fifth. Use a teflon plate like everybody else. When hooking up have the pin box a hair low. No, it doesn't take any more lube than any other hitch. A couple squirts of silicon spray works wonders on all hitches.

There was a used one near me for sale. But it did not last over 36 hours.
Must be great hitch s. I know if I ever go with a long bed truck. I sure will have one also. But plan on sticking with short bed truck as long as I can.
