I am installing a TriMetric 2025RV meter in my MH. I have the shunt installed and I am pulling teh wire through the Mh. I run into a problem where I am not sure on the wire location on the terminal board on the back of the 2025RV meter. Can someone tell me when facing the back of the meter board dose the first black wire go on the left side or does it start from the right side?? Looking at the paper instruction and the diagram on inside box seems to get me a little confused. Kind-of looks like the go against each other? Which side should I start the back wire from Faceing the back side of the meter?
I am hoping the get the information so I can finish up the installation this weekend. I had just sent a e-Mail to Randy at Best Converter, but I am not sure if he has left for the weekend. So for now I am just waiting on this.

Thanks Gary

Colors aren't important. Write down what color wire you used on the battery side as in G1=black through B2=red. Then connect the same colored wires to the G1 through B2 terminal on the back of the display.

Having said that wire colors are important if you are using twisted pairs which are identified by their color.

Double/triple check then insert the fuses.

Not sure back or front view, but the terminals inside the box are marked. Find the + for red, G1 is black (paired with red), G2 is black (paired with white), (both blacks to the outside end of the shunt) and SIG is white (battery end of shunt).

I know which wires connect down at the shunt and the batteries. I am just trying to get right location at the meter terminals to hook up the wires to.
Does G1 Start on the right side or left side of the Terminal strip when facing the back side of the meter looking at the terminal?

Looking at the back at the green board, the terminals are at the bottom with a blue dot to your left. G1 is nearest the blue dot. then G2, SIG, B1, and B2 last (empty on mine)

I see the confusion as the drawing at the very back is reversed to the physical layout--the drawing is what you see looking at the board.

The installation manual clearly shows/states that looking from the back G1 is on the left. Did you see that?

I don't recall that but will look tomorrow.

Nothing would suprise me as the installation manual has errors. For example it does not show a fuse on the chassis battery positive wire which is clearly wrong.

Well my papers don't even show the chassis battery, I guess you are one up on me.

Sounds like you have the wrong manual.

The manual for all models are online on the mfg site. Get the 2025RV manual.

I would call them directly as they may be there today.

I called them with the same problem and they talked me through it in about 1 minute. The instruction manual was included but the installation manual was missing. Good Luck and you will love the Trimetric.
