ALWAYS post year/Brand of RV when posting as the answer to your question mnay depend on that. Diesel or gasoline RV? IF Gasoline, the odds are your APU has the breaker (1 of 2) tripped on the APU. Check the APU. Doug

There are two circuit breakers on the generator. Check and see if the 20 or one of the 30 amp circuit breakers is tripped.

You might have to open a cover (generator off) to find the circuit breakers, they will look like little black switches.

If this fixed it, please let us know, or we will keep giving suggestions all week, in vain.

OK, make shre you remember where those two switches are! I have to reset one of them quite often, but have not seen exactly the problem you described.

I wonder where they hire their "Experts" who can look at a unit and not find the problem, I can find the problem just by hearing about it's symptoms.

I would not be going back to that bus dealer anytime soon, if I could avoid it.

Hi All.

Its pretty simple Fred. Because most places don't have real Tech's, or very Poorly Trined one at best. Thats why 45+ years ago, I decided to do all of my own RV work, just like I do all of our past and present Cars, trucks SUV's. RV's.

Plus there isn't anything I can't do with a real Stick-N-Brick House.

In all of these years, I haven't found anything yet on any RV, that is that hard to "Fix" or to "Repair" or to "Replace" myself. Even almost any electrial problems are not all that hard to figure out.

I will admit, that I have run across a couple of Electrail issues over the past 45+ years, that made me scratch my head a little bit, and at times they can be a real PITA to find. But I'm the type that never gives in or nver gives up.

I don't ever see a need in the future for any Tech's, espically RV Tech's.

Also to be fair, I'm sure there are some real good RV Tech's out there, but I haven't met one myself so far. Seems like the only ones you see or hear about are the ones that cause the big problems for RV'ers.

I agree, if you take something to the proper shop, how in the world can they not find the problem, thats what their in businees for in the first place.

Good Luck to all. Happy Travels. Dan & Jill

Spend 1 week with me at our shop and you will eat your words. HOW could you ever meet one of the "good" techs? You admit that you will NEVER EVER be in the proximity of good RV techs. VERY arrogant to state that you can fix modern cars versus cars more than 20 years old. Yes, I do agree That there is a shortage of good RV techs, but that is the nature of any business. There are good and bad. Doug
