I have a new RV at 45' and a tow bar 4' and my jeep at 15'8" so all that is right at 70'8" so most state that we drive the max is 65' has someone been pull over
I have not nor have I seen or heard of anyone else being pulled over. If you got in an accident or pulled over for some other reason, you might have a problem.
Is my addition the same that you are using? When I add 45, 4, 16, I get 65 feet.
No, I haven't heard of anyone being cited for being over 65 feet. Even if you were in a collision, the officer and insurance claim handlers would have to measure your rig. As for libility, the claim handler would have to show the lengh caused or contributed to the loss.

Cops are different in different places. My good friend got a ticket (motorhome w/ boat) for being in lane #2 on a four lane highway in California. You have to stay in lane the right two lanes when towing on a four or more lane in CA. He explained that he was trying to get back to the right, but was having problems due to heavy traffic. The cop gave him a ticket anyway.
I would not worry about an extra five feet as you see 45' DPs pulling huge trailers. At least with the Jeep if stopped you could have the DW drive it until the next state. I sometimes pull a 30' trailer that puts me 10' over length in GA and Fl and have yet to even have them look at me.
This post is my opinion (free advice). It is not intended to influence anyone's judgment nor do I advocate anyone do what I propose.
Just checked my copy of RV related laws (unofficial) and found that Oregon has the shortest Combined Length of 50' max length (60' w/special permit); next is Maryland with Combined Length of 55' max length. Hope this helps. Just my two cents...
