Actually it is a Campervan rather than a true TC, but it shows what can be done with the new Ford Ranger as a basis for a TC. The Sunliner Camper was fairly roomy inside.

On second look.
Does the unit have propane? I see electric stove elements for cooking. Does it rely on the truck engine for heating or is that also reliant on shore power? Would be nice to see a floorplan drawing.

Its gorgeous! The living unit appears to be a totally one-piece non clam-shell fiberglass structure. However, we can pretty well forget any sub-half ton pickup with a diesel, in the genre of the European Ford Ranger, in North America.

Please don't tease us with practical, economical RV's. US mfg's have decided we want 8 MPG wide body Motorhomes .

It looks really sharp. I just wonder if there is really any effort on the part of US car makers and RV makers to try and bring this kind of stuff here. I don't think there is

Check out the news release. Available in 2wd or 4wd with either a 4 or 5 cylinder diesel and 6 speed automatic.

We can only hope someone will bring something like this to NA.
