Stolen trailer usually end up in out of the way places like fishing or hunting camps. Not ever intended to be used on the road again, but as a bunk for the BOYS.

Someone probably pulled in in broad daylight, hooked up and rolled. Im stll suspicious about an inside track from an employee though. Guy on vacation, no call etc etc.
Many years ago while I was working in the grocery business a lady walked to the CS counter, told the girl she rep with the baby formmula company and preceeded to clean off all theformula into three carts. She even wiped down the empty shelf. If I remember right it was around 5K stolen. Several employees saw her, one even helped!
You see the point here?

X2. jujubee I hope you are insured well. I think you'll never see that trailer again, whether turned in for scrap or turned into a permanent camp somewhere....unfortunately it is gone.
Also, if you haven't yet, you should send an email to Mlemonis regarding the situation.

Do a search for "TN + attorney generals office." The section for consumer affairs states that it is for "unfair or deceptive business practices." We had an excellent experience getting help from NC atty. gen office when we fought a battle with a lemon RV. The office will make a demand on your behalf to ask how the business is going to resolve your issue. The service is free...maybe you can avoid lawyer fees. Best of luck....sure hate it for you!! I would be livid!!

You need to get in touch with Ranger431, who posted on 4/15/12 about his Jayco trailer being stolen. He's also from the Knoxville area. Perhaps the two of you together could provide compelling info to the state AG. Almost sounds like rather than just random individual incidents, this could be the work of an organized theft ring, targeting Jayco campers?

Thank you all for all the support. I certainly appreciate it. I have to say that one thing I left off that really irked me was that the owner of Tennessee RV would not even speak with us. The service manager said he had been instructed that the owner did not want to discuss, as there was nothing that he could do other than let us know they were not responsible and that we would have to rely on our own insurance. The insurance will cover some, but not really replace our TT. I guess if we are out of sight we are out of mind! I have checked with an attorney and he says that it would probably be in our best interest to go with our insurance and let them try to recover their money from TN RV, but we are so angry with them that I don't really care about the money. It is more principle so I don't know where we go from here. I certainly appreciate the info abou the Attn Gen. I did not even think of this, but will try to see where that might go. Right now we are just so discouraged. I really think they could have handled this in a much better way. At least an apology from the owner, sorry your TT was stolen from our lot...Misfortunate, etc... but NOTHING of the sort. A little compassion would have went a long way, but they TRULY do not care.

Of note, I posted question for Ranger431. I am curious if he took his TT to Tennessee RV for repairs as it says he went to a Jayco dealer 30-45 minutes from West Knoxville (TN RV would be about this distance) May not have been same repair shop, but worth asking...

Wow, I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I am picking up a new Jayco 32TSBH from Tennessee RV this Friday as a replacement for (get ready) the STOLEN Jayco 32BHDS in my signature below. My TT was stolen from a storage lot between west Knoxville and Oak Ridge (there is a thread here somewhere). They got the guy on video, and even when I showed the police the tape, they showed very little interest and said I would probably never see it again and said I should file an insurance claim.
I bet the SOB that took your TT may be the same guy, or in business with the guy that stole mine. I have heard that a lot of times they take them to make mobile meth labs, that they burn down after they are done.
I hate thieves.

I hate thieves. Almost a much as I hate a business owner with no integrity......at least I expect it from a thief.....OP, I urge you to email Marcus he is a stand up guy......apparently the folks at Tennessee RV are not. And don't forget the TN AG's office.
