The ramp door on my Cyclone allowed daylight in on one side, about 3ft starting from the top corner. I reported this to Heartland during the warranty period and they worked with Lippert to get a new door shipped to Ron Hoover RV in Houston. You could tell the old one was slightly warped on one corner. The new door looks & works great. The actual work was done well after the warranty period since I wanted to use Ron Hoover but couldn't get back to Houston until mid-April. Heartland was very agreeable to this.
The new door is a touch heavier, maybe a bit more beefed up? When I opened the old one it used to hang about a foot and a half off the ground. The new one comes down and just barely touches the ground. I don't believe the springs were changed.
It was a bit of a hassle but I'm very pleased with the outcome and the way it was handled by Heartland.
Awesome! So good to hear a great service story with heartland since we just picked up our 3010! I'll post pictures when we get home. I got the 3 season wall!

They may have cleaned the springs up a bit for you and maybe even put a little oil on them. I know when I spray just a bit of penetrating oil on mine they work smooth as silk and don't creak and bind and make all kinds of funny noises I hear other doors make. It drops down nice and smooth and stays on the ground and is actually easier to put it back up not fighting as much of the friction between spring windings.
Heartland has been wonderful helping us take care of warranty issues. Since the dealer we purchased from is pretty far away, Heartland has authorized service at a nearby service facility.
