Went to Glacier NP last year. Love that country. Flathead, wow. If we couldn't live here in Colorado's mountains, I'd head there.
But What's with the huckleberry mania? Our RV park owner make pies for sale. Really excellent. But the huckleberry pies were a fortune! There were signs for huckleberry jam, huckleberry ice cream. huckleberry crossing ahead. Come on. Aren't they just blueberries for tourists?

The plants grow very well in the high ranges of Montana so they are plentiful but you need a bunch of them for pies, jams etc.
Yup, also ice cream and pop (soda). Gotta get them before the bears.. Born in Kalispell and lived in Eureka for a time. Grand parents and parents lived in Eureka.

Yes, it is. I grew up there (inside Badrock Canyon, actually), and I can barely stand to go visit. Too many people, and nearly all the industry is gone. Not much left but restaurants, casinos, and department stores. I have to wonder how all those people can survive selling meals and clothes, and booze to each other!
Yes, it is beautiful. But, as we used to say when I lived there, you can't EAT scenery!
