Hi to everyone else in Europe

Next month is Abenteuer & Allrad in Bad Kissingen, Germany.

I mentioned this ages ago, but since it is now just around the corner I was wondering who was going to be going (and camping).

We plan to be there with the truck camper (not as a display or stand, just camping); Flaxi should also be there (manning his stand selling 4x4 gear) and I believe Joerg68 is also planning to go.

Anyone else? (I am of course thinking of Mark_be and Weymard - a chance to use the recently acquired camper , but also Sundowners and one or two others on our side of the Atlantic).

Sally and I will probably do a bit of the Czech Republic first and I suspect will be in Bad Kissingen for the Friday (though we are flexible). Our return Eurotunnel booking to cross the English Channel is Sunday morning, which would mean leaving Bad Kissingen Saturday morning (just as things are really starting to get going ) - but since I am not working on Monday and Sally isn't working at all at the moment I may try to move that channel crossing to Monday so we can be at the show until Sunday morning.

It would be great to meet up with some of the European RV.netters (and I've got instructions from Silversand to get as many pictures as possible

You can either respond here or PM me - I can then provide my contact details.

Steve & Sally.

We will try to go there, but our truck still in US plates, it could be a problem with German Police (in France I can keep these plates 5 months before Approval which need more months that that !!).
So I'm hesitating to do it, I would not like to be immobilized in Germany by the police...

And I print a false "carte grise" ( French Title) with your license plates numbers !

In this case, police control (French or German) and directly prison ! Thanks Silver to offer me some free holiday !!

Weymard: OK its a deal then !

You'll also need a Canadian passport (included with the plates: just insert photo)

*we all know we are joking around of course

It isn't actually that obvious on their website - but it is:

07th - 10 June 2012

This is the information page

(I'm relying on Google Chrome to do the translation for me )

We will definitely come.

Here is the english info page:
http://cms-5.de/blog.abenteuerallrad.de/besucher/for-foreign-visitors/english/

The official camp site is located in "im Lindes" street in Bad Kissingen. I suppose there will be a bus shuttle to the show.

I have heard that the infamous Host triple slide camper will also be there :-)

@weymard: I will try to get the license plate information secured for you. Is your truck already insured in France?

Regards,
Joerg
