Hi,

we are here at the beach camping and my buddy Leo is trying to remove the plastic paint guard film off of his Monaco Windsor

it is a slow fingernail process for him

??? How do you pro's do it ???

There are many blogs on the internet on how to remove the film.
To "educate" yourself,go and GOOGLE "diamond shield removal".
Heat is your friend,use a heat gun carefully or better use a steamer
and some plastic scaper / knife. 3M makes some goop /glue remover.

No easy way to remove it. Heat (we used heat gun), scrape )(we used plastic paint scraper but be careful and don't scrape too deep or you take the paint too), pick off in bitty pieces. Took 2 people 2 days and sore fingers. Once you get the film off, use Goo Gone cleaner to clean the residue off (lots of wiping).
