If turning the light on makes the fan slow down, the wiring is to small - the extra load of the light causes a large voltage drop. I would look at LED's for that light is you are worried.

I sure like my Endless Breeze freestanding model. Is there anything else out there in the running, air for watts?

Hi All.

Hey, Hey, Hey, right on as usual. We would never give up our "Fantastic Fans" or our "Endless Breeze Fan" either.

If anyone hasn't tried an "Endless Breeze Fan, you owe it to yourself to go check one out. Its amazing at how much air this Fan moves, even on the Lowest Speed. The Endless Breeze Fan is worth any price, even thought we got ours on a very good sale price.

All of them, are Fantastic for Boondocking.

Good Luck. Happy Travels. Dan & Jill

Any air movement is better than no movement. What I wanted to know is the motor specs for their 3-speed fans. They probably put more powerful motors in new ones, 1.9 A on the lowest. 14-speed motor (and free-standing?) must be the same motor, only different control circuit.

Thinking about the Endless Breeze fan also. How much do those draw?

Steve, what Fan-Tastic model do you have? (yes,14-speed model 6600 is different from all other).

Almot,

I have the 6000RBTA that I installed. Easy modification to do.

Looks like I'll have to buy and install it to find out the Amps draw. All 3-speed "roof" models are rated at 1.9 A at the lowest, and in this topic 2 people already report 1.1 A at the lowest.
