Hope I do this right. Im new to the forum. I am rebuilding a 24 foot shasta from the frame up. All my walls are done and now Im working on the floor . Im not sure what way togo for insulating the floor. Im using two by four framing. Ill have 1.5 inches in width to fill,not much. I used corragated underbelly on top of frame then wood framing. Thanks.

Personally I would hire a contractor to spray foam insulation.

Option 1 (which is expensive), hire a Spray Foam Contractor. Use 2 lbs (medium density) Close Cell.
Option 2 (which is less expensive), buy those DIY Spray foam tanks. I hear Tiger makes a good DIY system. Use 2 lbs (medium density) Closed Cell. For good video, surf - Click Here -
Option 3, use "poor man's spray foam" method. re: Buy some foam sheets, cut them on a table saw and use hand held spray foam cans to "lock in" their outer edges. Surf: - Click Here -
If square "consistant" areas to insulate, I'd use Option 3. But if I plan to keep the trailer for life, I'd go with option 1. Contractor Spray foam "lock in" all materials it sticks to.

Whatever method you decide on make sure that if you have plumbing and electrical under the floor that you can still get to it easily for repairs.

I used 1" rigid foil faced foam to do mine, cut nice and tight. Used it for the walls too. It's R 7.7 for the 1". There might be pics in the link in my sig. I can tell you that my TT heats stupid easy and it didn't break the budget. The spray foam would be the ticket, but I couldn't justify the cost for my rig.
I will say that it sure took time to do all the cutting, and it got old real quick.

Thanks for the help. I went to Lowes last night and they have 1.5 inch foam boards.THat looks to be my answer so far. As far as any plumbing issues,or electrical,my camper has all that stuff under the underbelly. I would love to share all the pictures with everyone,but I am a little slow on how to get it on here.

I used the foam board when I built a TC. I have seem some RV construction on the forum. When I built my TC I built it like the commercial companies build their RVs. From the inside out. Instead of like a stick house where you build from the outside in. Building all the walls and floor separate, then attatching them together and putting the insulation in from the outside and aluminum over the insulation. That way you can remove the aluminum panels and have complete access to all plumbing and electrical after the RV is built.
