Just looked at a couple of TT Sandsport trailers. Look very nice and seem to be built fairly well. Does anyone have experience with Pacific Coachworks? I read a bit about them going through reorganization not long ago. They have been building TT for a while a recently released fifth wheels. I am comparing them to the Forest River products, Sandstorm - Stealth - Shockwave, Eclipse products, Attitude and Stellar. They all have similar floorplans and lengths. Looking for any word on PC quality and customer service.
I have a Pacific Coachworks Tango 30 foot trailer, a 2009. No issues except replacing tires. The fifth wheels and travel trailers have been made for about six or seven years. The toy haulers are more recent. In my assessment and why I purchased a PC Tango is that I felt they were head and shoulders above Jayco and Forest River products. The quality is very good probably more along the lines of Arctic Fox. However, they are not in the league of Airstream trailers. A couple years ago the company was bought out and the original founders are gone. I am not aware of the product's quality issues (if any) since they reorganized. One key indicator you might consider is that there are almost no negative comments about PC products on these forums-- that is good!

I can tell you Eclipse Customer Service is excellent and they will go the extra mile to make you happy. They are one of few Manufactures operating a full service shop with same day service while you wait and will do customzation . In addition, the owner takes a hand-ons approach and is involved in the day-to-day operations. I would suggest you call and arrange a tour of plant in Riverside and come to your own conclusion. In my opinion, based on my experience, they are the best (and I have owned Coachman, Lance, Forest River Saber, and Rockwell).
Thanks for all of the input. We have always liked the Attitude and Stellar trailers. The PC Sandsport does look nice. Need to look at them closer to do some comparisons. Everyone I have talked to says to go fifth wheel as they tow much better. Only issue is that the smaller fifth wheels are considerably heavier than a larger TT. Decisions.................

And with a fifth wheel hitch in the bed of a pickup you lose a lot of dirt bike or quad carrying capacity in the bed of the truck. A premium hitch such as the ProPride or Hensely will go a long way toward a good towing experience with a pull behind. Fifth wheels are nice but if you want or need the bed of the truck for stuff they are a compromise.
