So far we have seen the Fun Finder X-189FBS (link), it's slightly larger Shadow Cruiser counterpart, and the Surveyor Sport SP-189 (3870 lbs as shipped).

We were impressed with the Surveyor but it is quite heavy. We liked the abundance of overhead storage and the angled kitchen. It seemed well made. The shower is smaller than the Shadow Cruiser's. The Shadow Cruiser has a rear bath, less windows, but we saw one in stock for 16k, 3k less than the Surveyor.

Anything else we should look at? At or around 20ft, below 4000 lbs dry/shipped, with a couch instead of dinette and queen bed.

Thanks!

Are you looking in the 19 ft range? You may want to check out the Jayco Jayflight. I got the thermal package with mine. The thermal package runs about $440. I think it is well worth it. The 19RD has a couch and queen bed. the TV can be mounted above the dinette so you can sit on the couch and watch it. Since you live in the NW you may want to check out Canopy Country. I drove all the way from Wyoming to Yakima to buy my Jayco.

I just sold my Rockwood Mini-Lite 1809S (around 3200lbs) with queen bed and huge couch slide out. My new trailer is the new Lance 1685 (around 3500lbs) with Queen Bed and mega dinnette slide out. Lance also makes the new 1575 with Queen bed, large dinnette and comes in around 2500lbs. These are all tandem axles with independent suspension.

Skelshy, that's the setup we've been looking at (queen bed, couch, shorter, lightweight). In addition to the TT's you mentioned, there are Rockwood Mini Lites (1809S, 1904), Apex 189FBS, Jayco Skylark (not making any more, but you can still find one), Coleman CTU183QB, Trailmanor 2720SL. If a wet bath is ok with you (I'd rather not have one),there's R-POD 175 or MPG 184. The problem I keep running into is on some makers' floorplans, they label a bed as "queen" but the actual measurements are closer to a double bed, so be sure to get the actual measurements if a real queen size is important to you.

Thanks for the tips. Will look some more ... Looks like that Mini Lite is 5k cheaper than the surveyor sport!

The Surveyor looks nice, but IIRC, no front window, which I didn't care for.

I too am looking at the same floorplan (queen bed, couch slide and rear bathroom) but in the 21 to 22 foot size. I've been to 7 dealers up to 4 hrs. away that carry the brands ( Rockwood, Flagstaff, Fun Finder, Shadow Cruiser, Palomino, ect) but haven't been able to find one in stock. The wholesalers in Ohio, Indiana, ect say they have them, and at good prices, but it's hard to drive hundreds of miles to buy what you have never actually seen or have not been able to check the build quality. If I ever find one in stock closer to home and anywhere near the wholesalers quotes, I would pull the trigger. Don't necessarily want to drive a day and a half to purchase but for $4500-$5000 less, I would certainly do it. Local dealer would be my preference with good service but money talks.
If you've got one like a Rockwood 2109S, or similar floorplan, how do you like it? Thanks.

Some of the "LivinLite" Camplite Travel trailers come with Queen bed/dinette, fold out couch, and bathroom. They are all aluminum. We have a basic Camplite 11RD with Queen bed and fold out couch, but no bath.

There is also the JAYCO Jay Flight Swift SLX 185RB, a lower priced option with no slide (11.5k vs. the Lance 1575 20.5k)
