I had been looking for a bunk ladder for our camper. The CW website said my local store had them but quantities were limited (as did the next 8 closest stores). Every time I called they happened to be out. I waited a couple months and kept calling but they never received them. I finally purchased at another dealer.
It sounds like you are honestly trying to fix any issues within the company so I figured I'd let you know. I still shop at that store and just the other day noticed the same blank spot on the wall which is what made me think of it.
It sounds to me like the product you want is not in a very high demand. Warehouse space takes up room for products that sit for a year and do not sell. Did you ask them to order it for you so you could pick it up the next time you were at that store? I have done that at my local CW store several times. It works great, they call me when they have it and I pay no shipping!

Looks like shipping is only $5 right now.
I know they frequently have low or no shipping on many items.
If that comes assembled, it probably cost them more than $5 to ship it.
You could have had it 2 months ago and saved some phone calls and maybe gas.

They have a large empty hole where they could have product to sell. There aren't many companies that believe this is good for business.

The store employees had told me they requested several times to have them stocked but CW never sends.
I wanted to see it in person before I bought it. I could have had it shipped for free and received a better deal at a half dozen locations across the Internet. I don't shop at CW for their prices.
I didn't want it bad enough to care about paying for phone calls or gas. It's on my way home from work and I was calling about other things at the time too. I really don't even care about CW but it seems like the staff is trying to improve so I thought I'd take 2 minutes to type my post and help. I've received all sorts of help here over the years .. paying it forward is what makes this place go-round.
