Hi all,
I'm thinking of getting the SaniCon system for the Cambria. I'm interested in hearing from people who have or have had this system. How did you like it? Any info would be great.
Thanks, Todd

I have one and love it. Mine is mounted in the sewer compartment and is wired in. Don't have to worry about draging out a 3" hose, dumping, washing it out and putting it back. Just take the small hose cap off, but in sewer outlet, pull drain valve and turn on pump. When do just put cap back on, store back in compartment. You can also backflush your back water system with it. Unlike the sewer solution you don't need a water source for it to work.

have one in a 29 Phonix, my only issue is the noise the pump makes, when trying to dump in a campground for a early leave, the pump is loud, otherwise works great...
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the replies. I'll be getting the portable tank buddy system. This will primarily be for when the Cambria is at home on the RV pad. About the only complaint we have when camping is the return trip. Because we currently have no way to empty the tanks at home I wont let anyone use the water. The Sani-con looks like it will solve that problem as I can just dump to the septic. I do have one question on the portable unit. Does it just clip on to the chassis battery for power? Any help would be great.
Thanks, Todd
I have a Clean Dump system. I ran a permanent wire from the battery to the utility compartment, beneath the rv, secured to the frame with plastic ties, and installed a common house light switch. I can just stand there and when the motor noise changes , throw the switch. Marvh
I have also looked at the Sanicon system, but I also need 100' of hose. According to the Sanicon reviews, the distance is no problem. The issue I am having is 100' of additional hose is almost as much as the unit. Anyone find a source for hose that does not cost so much?

What I use is probably the least polished of all the methods here. I have a clearly marked grey water hose, a macerator pump, and a set of jumper cables. It is ugly, but I can empty about 100 gallons worth of grey and black water in about ten minutes or so. I empty the black tank first, then let the grey water rush into the black tank, the tanks equalize, then drain. This gives a nice backflush effect for little time/effort.
As for the Pheonix Cruiser, if the pump's noise is an issue, most recent models I've seen allow one to attach a regular "stinky slinky" via an emergency port before the macerator pump. This is good if you just want to quietly dump stuff, or not bother using the macerator for grey water.

Hi,
According to the Sani-Con ad, you can add any standard garden hose to the end of the 21 foot Sani-con hose. It should just screw on the end. I think there may be a 100 or 150 foot limit on the total distance. Hope this helps you out.
