I installed a WFCO 55 amp converter and ran new 4 ga. cables a few months back.Never got out of absorption mode. No boost or float.Called WFCO and the tech told me that it will never go into boost mode but that there is nothing wrong with the unit.I had the battery drawn down to 11.8.I ripped out the unit 2 days later and installed a PD 55 amp unit and it has worked flawlessly since.Just my 2 cents.
